Beginners – Monday 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Our Beginner Belly Dance Classes are open to all. We focus on dance conditioning and learning the proper posture and movements.  Some of our students take our beginner classes to get a good workout. Others take our classes to learn the basic movements of belly dance. Light Choreography – as well as intro to basic props - will be included to combine the moves into a more meaningful workout.

Intermediate (Group Performance) – Wednesday 6 – 7 p.m.

Our Intermediate Class is open to students with previous belly dance experience with some mastery of the basic skills.  The classes are more challenging and teach more involved choreographies. These classes concentrate on improving your form and posture, as well as extensive use of props such as veil, cane, and zills. You are expected to practice at home, attend class weekly, and will be invited to participate in festivals, haflas, and other types of recitals.

Advanced/Professional (Solos and Specialties) – Wednesday 7 – 8 p.m.

Professional Level Classes are by invitation only.  The classes are challenging.  Students are expected to be comfortable enough to solo and perform specialty dances.  Students may apply for class attendance after attending lower level classes. You are expected to practice at home, attend class weekly, and actively participate in choreography, costuming, and all other aspect of business – including attending at least one additional class with this group.  You must have enough experience and knowledge to perform individually AND be willing to do so.
